Last May, InnoVista Sensors™ Valence launched the project MyBike@InnoVista Sensors™ program with the aim of giving employees an alternative, non-polluting means of transport for short trips.
This project has proven very successful with employees with our park of 8 bikes being fully used every working day over the summer months.
With a wonderful weather during the Autumn, this program continues to be successful.
Now, it’s time to study the results.
Morgan Verdier, engineering designer, who was an enthusiastic user of the bikes, gives us his impression on that scheme: “I appreciate this free program. I take a bike instead of using my car for my lunch break. While being economic and environment-friendly, it is also good for my health. Going cycling helps you empty your mind! I only wish we could have more space for the bike park.”
At the end of the campaign, we are encouraged by the results and proud of the employees who have participated in reducing our impact on the planet. It also encourages us to go ahead with environment-friendly actions.
For next spring, we will study adding electric bikes and investigate the option to install recharging stations for electric cars to help our drive to improve the environment.
