Since November 2014, InnoVista Sensors™ has been supporting a local induction programme called “100 Chances 100 Emplois” (“100 opportunities for 100 jobs”) as part of the CSR Fair Employer activities.
InnoVista Sensors™ Valence is piloting this initiative with O’NET, another local company, and DIEDAC PLIE. DIEDAC PLIE is a coordination platform which mobilizes local employment and training organizations to help individuals with difficulties get new opportunities to start their professional lives. They propose a strong long-term individual support, which implies taking into consideration all aspects of the person.
“The program enables those young to build their professional network and to know the codes to better introduce themselves to the companies. It’s also a good way for them to recover self-confidence”, Marie-Chantal Sauzet, the programme manager, said.
Marina Rigaud, their accredited coach during the workshops, adds that the programme is “easy, accurate and practical. The companies it involves are good partners too: their commitment to the projects is important, the time they offer to the Challengers –as they called themselves – is worth being acknowledged.”
Today, the initiative can rely on a network of around 30 local companies sharing their experience with the aim of helping young talents find the right job opening.
Since the creation of the local antenna, 90 young adults benefited from the programme. After the 5-day training, 40% of them get a long-term job.
