For over 60 years, several studies have emphasized an increasing mortality rate of bees. As the Rovaltain Foundation explains, the disappearance of pollinating insects is becoming a major concern for our society as our food supply chain is highly dependant on flowering plant pollenation.
With the help of Apiculture Urbaine, a young French company based in the Rhone-Alpes area, InnoVista Sensors Valence is actively engaged to help preservating biodiversity.
As a first step, InnoVista has chosen to sponsor beehives at one of the off-site locations.
The first “InnoVista Honey” is expected for August 2016 and plans are already underway to install its own beehives on the factory roof, therefore acting for sustainable development.
