Today is a big Day for our Valence administrative site. After many years spent at the same address, employees discovered this morning their new office space. The administrative functions moved to the Lautagne Business park, just a bit further from the current site, in a completely new building which can welcome up to 120 people. The building was conceived on a bioclimatic architecture which makes the intelligent use of natural resources a priority. Thanks to adapted solar factor of glazing, low voltage lighting, air-conditioning heat pump and so on, energy consumption is expected to be cut by 30%. Last but not least, this building satisfies the French RT2012 environmental standards while offering a resolutely modern design. Efforts have also been made in our Valence La Plaine site. The Valence site has implemented changes that have led to a drastic cut in its electrical consumption. By opting for low-energy neon light in the workshop and using a variable flow compressor, they have managed to go from 165000kwH down to 83000kWh a year. This equals to the consumption of 18 all-electric houses of 100 sq meters! Electrical vehicles will be at employees’ disposal to maintain the connection between both sites. With this new rented building, InnoVista Sensors goes one step further in its CSR commitment to minimize its impact on the environment.
