Spring finally came back in France. But winter was colder than the years before. The local Red Cross faced an increasing need for blankets and warm clothes to relieve homeless people staying in the street. If hosting structures do exist to welcome them with a hot meal and shelter for the night, their capacity is not always adapted. Besides, some of the homeless do not want to go and stay there.
InnoVista Sensors™ has responded to the call for help and organized a collect of warm pieces on both Valence sites over a fortnight.
Employees reacted and emptied their closets of clothes that could still be useful to others. Donation quickly reached the 150 pieces including blankets, coats, scarves and gloves.
Our contact at the local Red Cross antenna, Mr Poulenard said they were very moved by our action: “Your engagement for people in neeeds is nice and impressive. I deeply want to thank you in the name of all the Valence beneficiaries. We trust you to renew the experience next winter if possible! We join with Mr Poulenard to congratulate and thank all participants for their reactivity and commitment.
