In June, InnoVista Sensors Valence engaged in helping preserve the local biodiversity by sponsoring beehives at a near-by location.
Following this Summer’s Environment Days events in Valence, bees have done their work and InnoVista Sensors is pleased to announce the first ever production of its very own InnoVista Sensors Honey.
In collaboration with a local bee keeper, Gabriel Faysse from Apiculture Urbaine, our objective is to contribute to helping maintain the local biodiversity and help the local bee population that is in constant decline due to problems of air pollution, multiplication of high voltage cables and climatic changes.
The 240 jars of honey will now be offered for sales to employees at the Valence Site. All funds collected will be matched by InnoVista Sensors and donated to the local Restos du Coeur that helps the homeless.
Now this first step has proved successful, the company is considering the possibility to install its own bee hives at their newly-built environmental-friendly administrative offices in Valence.
