Each year, the American Cancer Society organizes Relays for Life Days in support of research and patient support programs in several American cities.
On Saturday, July 11th, InnoVista Sensors™ Concord employees walked laps around Todos Santos Plaza in downtown Concord, California to help support research and those suffering from cancer. Employees set up a booth and sold donated croissants and cookies to help generate more funds on the day of the relay event.
Valjean Elander, Engineer in Systron Donner Inertial at InnoVista Concord, told us: “This event gave us the opportunity to meet others in the community and to share personal experiences with cancer and how it has affected our lives and the lives of our coworkers.”
Although none of InnoVista Concord’s employees camped overnight, they enjoyed a lovely day together supporting a good cause. The Systron Donner team raised over $800 with the generous help of CSR’s matching donations.
