People living in rural and remote communities suffered gravely from this year’s harsh winter in Morocco. Innovista Sensors’ employees chose to organize a special winter operation in the foothills of the Middle Atlas mountains, in partnership with Moubadart Faîl Khair & Koulouna Kafil Charity Organizations.
Thanks to employees’ donations, volunteers helped over 800 people. They provided them with 1600 winter coats, 300 blankets and food parcels. Employees also organized a medical caravan allowing them to have access to healthcare consultations and medicines for free.
“It was a memorable experience where each of us contributed to give a sense of meaning to the collective commitments and selfless acts.”Volunteers made it both enjoyable and useful. Over 3 very intensive days, they took the opportunity to organize recreational workshops for children such as reading, painting…
The population was very grateful for all what was done for them. It was the volunteers’ reward to humbly feel that they managed -at least temporarily – to change the local people’s daily lives.
We are very proud of the volunteers’ constant commitment to help poor communities in Morocco.
